[LIGHT UP THE FUTURE] Illuminate the Future for Women in Kenya - JICA Collaborative Project

Panasonic HD, in collaboration with #JICA, donated 100 Panasonic solar lanterns to women and girls living in off-grid areas of Orinien Village in the Kajiado County, located in southwestern Kenya. This donation was made possible through a donation campaign conducted by Panasonic HD in July 2024, targeting employees worldwide.

The solar lanterns provide women and girls with safe mobility and the ability to engage in activities, while also supporting their participation in nighttime learning, economic, and social activities. This initiative promotes the empowerment and confidence of women and girls, contributing to the elimination of Gender-Based Violence (#GBV).
