In Inner Mongolia of People's Republic of China desertification is a serious issue. Much of the grassland in this area has turned into desert over the past 40 to 50 years, and this has become one of the causes of yellow sand. The Panasonic Group in China has begun a large-scale tree planting initiative in Ordos City of Inner Mongolia in order to help reduce CO2 by preventing desertification and contributing to greening efforts. Please take a closer look at Panasonic's greening activities.
