The power of creativity and imagination -Sports × Social Development-

Panasonic Center Tokyo (PCT) has been holding the event series “The power of creativity and imagination” since May of this year. "The power of creativity and imagination" is a series of online events where young people and guests from various fields can get the chance to exchange ideas and think together about new perspectives that could help make the world a better place.

This event, which was held on November 19th 2020, was the 6th edition of our series, where we focused on the connection between sports and social development.

As everyone may know, sports have always been popular among many people. It not only has a competitive aspect, but also has various aspects such as culture, education, dream and hopes, and regional reconstruction. At the same time, with the rapid development of technology in recent years, further growth is expected in future sports and sports business fields. In this way, it is no exaggeration to say that the powers and possibilities of sports is limitless.

In addition to it, we feel that the social value of sports has become even greater in recent years, with many athletes actively engaging in social activities off the pitch and sports teams working to revitalize the region.

At the event, two guests, who are involved in sports from different angles and are active internationally, talked about the power of sports, how sports can contribute to social issues, and what the future awaits for sports.
