Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town - Concept Video

On March 28, 2016, the Tsunashima SST Council lead by Panasonic Corporation and Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. announced that it has gained the consensus of participating cross-industry businesses that will be working together to bring to life the Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town (Tsunashima SST located in Tsunashima-higashi, Kita Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) and introduced its "Town Development Concept Plan," which details environmental and safety/security goals as well as regulations pertaining to landscape and operation. Tsunashima SST, which will be built on the site of a former Panasonic factory, will be comprised of non-residential and residential facilities, and under the concept "Innovating the Future Together," the town will aim to become an urban smart city.
