Behind the scenes of "HIT" development for the solar car race #WSC15

One of the world's largest solar car races, the "2015 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge" was held on October 18, 2015 in Australia.
Participants of this tough race could only use the energy from the sun to cover approximately 3,000km. The Tokai University Solar Car Team's vehicle was supported by Panasonic's "HIT" photovoltaic modules, which boast the world's top class conversion rate and excellent performance under high temperatures.
This documentary like video introduces how the "HIT" photovoltaic modules were developed by specially tuning commercial cells and incorporating a great many ideas, how the solar car was built at the Tokai University, the vehicle's powerful performance t the race, and the dramatic scene that unfolded at the last minute.
