ch.02 Jun 05, 2013
Prague Castle (Czech Republic) is the largest ancient castle in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. 10,000 light bulbs at this castle, which has maintained its appearance over the years, were replaced with Panasonic's LED bulbs. The type of Panasonic bulbs that were most used were the LED Clear Light Bulbs, which has a transparent glass shell and a LED substrate in the center that closely resembles filaments of incandescent light bulbs. Please take a look at this documentary, which introduces the story behind the development of this unique LED and scenes from the Prague Castle as old conventional light bulbs are replaced with the new.
