It is said that there are 1.32 billion people in the world who do not have access to electricity.
Panasonic has the technology to provide light to such people - with its solar cell powered lanterns.
The lack of access to electricity causes a wide-range of social issues in many part of the world, including Cambodia.
By donating solar lanterns to NPOs/NGOs working to provide education, medical care, and support so that people may become more independent, Panasonic hopes to help resolve these issues.
Small lanterns are helping light the way to a brighter future.
Please listen to some feedback we have received from local people in Cambodia.
